On November 2, several Aircond employees volunteered at the BOMA HomeAid Construction Project supporting Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House (AHHH), a non-profit that houses outpatients and caregivers of patients hospitalized in Atlanta area hospitals. Our employees performed all the HVAC maintenance and repairs and helped with landscaping around the facility and we were grateful to join our industry peers in supporting this very worthy cause.
A valued client for over 40 years--The Salvation Army--hosts an Annual Luncheon called "Doing the Most Good" where proceeds support their efforts of helping needy families. We participated in the event held on November 6 at the Georgia Aquarium and sponsored a table, and 4 of our clients joined us at the event. Aircond is thrilled to help the Salvation Army in supporting those less fortunate in the greater Atlanta community.
On Friday, November 30, several of our employees pitched in to deliver a pick-up truck full of donated non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army's 36th Annual "Can-A-Thon." Thanks to all who donated, and to our valued client, the Salvation Army, for continuing to make a difference in the lives of those facing hunger.
Aircond sponsored this quarter's BOMA Technical Organization (BTO) High-Performance Workshop luncheon on November 8 at the One Atlantic Building in Atlanta. The participants included building engineers and BOMA members, and we're happy to support this great organization that continues to give back to our industry with ongoing education, advocacy, and community service initiatives, to name just a few.
